What a privilege to join the Brevard Academy community as a Kindergarten Instructional Assistant!
I find great joy in engaging with young children: watching them learn, explore, and expand their minds. I grew up in Charlotte and graduated from UNCC with a BA in Spanish, working on my degree in Spain, Puerto Rico and Mexico. After studying architectural design, I began a 25-year career as a Residential Designer — until the day came when I decided to do what I love best and began a childcare business. Working with a small number of families, I built loving relationships with my kids and their parents that continue today.
When my husband retired in 2021, we moved to Brevard where we enjoy taking advantage of our area’s wealth of outdoor activities: golf, hiking, fly-fishing, and mountain biking. I also enjoy photography (waterfalls are my favorite subject), music, and good coffee.
