Rachel Coykendall
Hello! I am thrilled to be teaching 3rd grade! To tell you a little about myself: I am originally from East Tennessee and graduated from the University of Tennessee with a BA degree in Environmental Studies and received my teaching license through East Carolina University. I have lived in Brevard for 10 years along with my husband and 2 daughters. My two daughters, ages 13 and 15, attended Brevard Academy from Kindergarten to 8th grade and I have loved watching the school grow from its former, smaller setting at the Brevard Music Center Campus to our current beautiful location.
In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family and READ- mainly historical fiction. I also like to enjoy the beautiful mountains we live in, especially in the summer and fall.
