Stacey Seefeldt
My name is Stacey Seefeldt and I am one of the school counselors at Brevard Academy. I graduated from Kent State University in 2007 with a Master’s Degree in School Counseling after obtaining my Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from The Ohio State University. I have 13 years of school counseling experience serving as a school counselor for six years at Brevard High School and for the past seven years as a school counselor at John Ehret High School in Marrero, Louisiana. My family is excited to be back in Western North Carolina which is an area and community that we love. I enjoy being outdoors and spending time with my husband and two boys.
I enjoy assisting students in developing the academic, personal/social, and career development skills that will enable them to become successful, contributing members of their community. Whether it is helping students navigate peer relationships, family changes, learn more about themselves, practice coping skills, develop academic success strategies, plan their future, or be a sounding board to their idea, thoughts or challenges, I look forward to forging a strong and supportive relationship with students and a strong and positive partnership with families. I am available to work with students on an individual or small group basis, as well as teach lessons in the classroom. I look forward to working with the students, faculty, and families of this special school community to ensure the success of each student. If I can be of assistance, please feel free to reach out to me at sseefeldt@brevardacademy.org .
