Trina Burns
I am excited to say that I am a member of the Brevard Academy staff (GO BULLDOGS). I was hired in 2021 as an Office Assistant - Part Time. I also substitute teach as needed. Most recently, I have taken on more responsibility as a member of the Facilities Support team.
I grew up in Travelers Rest, SC with four siblings. I moved to Brevard in 1980. My husband and I have two wonderful daughters, two fabulous sons-in-law, and five phenomenal grandchildren (three boys and two girls). My life revolves around them!
I love football (Go Dallas Cowboys and Roll Tide), baseball (Go Braves), and to travel (mostly out west), and to spend time with family and friends. I graduated from Brevard College in 2004 with a degree in Organizational Leadership. Prior to Brevard Academy, my work history includes time as an HR/Administrative Manager and a member of the Brevard College IT Staff. I also worked as a Payroll Administrator at Rosman Research Station, a Department of Defense site where I held a Top Secret Security Clearance.
