Ashley Baugher

My name is Ashley Baugher, and I am excited to be part of the Brevard Academy family at a full-time capacity.  During the 2023 -24 school year, I began working at BA as a substitute for the EC Department.  Throughout that time, I enjoyed collaborating with the teachers, working in small group instruction, and collecting data.  I am thrilled to continue my journey with BA as an EC assistant. 

In 2005, I graduated from Purdue University with an elementary education license.  I taught 1st grade for 12 years and during that time received two master’s degrees: Reading Specialist and Technology Education.  In 2018, my family (husband, 2 children, and way too many pets) moved to WNC.  From 2018 – 2023, I spent time in downtown Brevard as a local business owner and artisan.  I look forward to continuing my community connections and educational practices with Brevard Academy.
