Nancy Jacobsen
I am originally from Northern Indiana. I graduated from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana, with a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts & Graphic Design. After college, I spent a decade living and working in the Florida Keys where I met my future husband. After starting a family, we relocated to Northeast Florida. We raised our three daughters: Emily, Summer and Morgan. Emily resides in Charlotte, Summer is gearing up to attend NC State, and Morgan is active in soccer and volleyball. My husband and I are working diligently towards a retirement dream home here in Brevard. We hand-picked this community because of the genuine people, amazing scenery, and laid back atmosphere.
My passion for teaching comes from a genuine love of learning and a patient heart for children. This will be my 11th year teaching. I decided to become a teacher because I enjoy building positive relationships and fostering personal growth. My hobbies include kayaking, hiking, swimming, walking, painting and photography.
I feel incredibly honored to be a teacher at Brevard Academy. I am deeply committed to the mission and shared values of this amazing school.
